What To Expect
We understand that many patients are nervous going to the dentist, so we make sure we do everything we can to reduce your anxiety. Knowing what to expect on your first visit is the first step in helping you achieve that. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this matter.
We would like you to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out our necessary forms. You can also fill them out at home if you would prefer and we will email or fax them to you.
We will go over your medical history to note any significant medical issues that may affect your treatment. We will then determine what radiographs you will need, do a clinical exam including but not limited to a periodontal (gum) screening, oral cancer screening, TMJ exam, and look for tooth decay. We use an intra-oral camera to show you the problem areas. We will go over your proposed treatment plan and any options you may have, answer any questions you may have, go over the cost and financing, and schedule your following appointments.
Appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient. We ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your commitment. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we do ask for your assistance in this regard. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, our ability to give you excellent service is compromised.
Insurance & Payment Options
Our office welcomes many types of dental insurance plans. We accept Medicaid for children. We gratefully accept many forms of payment, including personal checks, cash, and most major credit cards. We also take Carecredit and LendingClub. Please call us to make an appointment and we will answer any questions you may have.
